These days the popularity of organic food is increasing. The majority of people do not have any idea about organic foods and its advantages.

No use of chemicals

Organic foods are foods that are processed, produced and packed without the use of any chemicals. They are becoming famous because of the apparent benefits of health over conventional food. The organic industry is increasing quickly and has the full attention of manufacturers, farmers and consumers.

5. When consuming organic food, health risks are lowered. Since they have phenolic compounds it lowers the risk of cancer and protects from cardiovascular diseases.

6. The organic foods stay for a long time as a natural food without decaying.

7. Organic foods have more antioxidants than conventional foods.

Production standards

Organic foods are known as certified foods that have some production standards when produced. It is usually grown in farms that are organic and are monitored dynamically during the production by the staff of a certification body. They are grown without using any chemical fertilizers and use of pesticides.

Organic foods contain products that are derived from livestock apart from vegetables, fruits and grains. To differentiate from the natural foods they are usually labeled as they both look similar in shape, size and color.
