
1 stick butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 cups oatmeal
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Keep on side.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add oatmeal a little at a time. Mix again. Take mixture and add to first bowl with butter, sugar and vanilla. Mix again.
Grease cookie sheet. Scoop spoon size amount of mixture on cookie sheet with space between each amount.
Bake for 10 -12 minutes. Cool and serve.
You can also add walnuts or raisins if you like!
