
Warm prosciutto wrapped dates filled with toasted almond, Gorgonzola and chevre.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons chopped almonds
3 tablespoons fresh chevre
2 tablespoons Gorgonzola cheese
24 dates, pitted and sliced open
4 ounces prosciutto
Instructions
Day before the party
Preheat oven 350 degrees. Place almonds on baking sheet. Toast for 10 minutes. Cool and chop the almonds. Mix the chevre and Gorgonzola, then add the almonds. Use a teaspoon to fill each date with the cheese mixture. Wrap each date with prosciutto covering the date once. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Party time
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place dates on baking sheet and warm in oven until the cheese melts and the prosciutto slightly crisps around 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
